Note: As Borderlands 3 has only recently launched, this list is a work-in-progress as more players discover new legendary weapons and which manufacturer they are from. Because prefixes may vary on weapons, we've tried to narrow these down to the base names. Here's a complete list of all legendary weapons and gear found so far in Borderlands 3. Legendary weapons are some of the most coveted gear in the game because of their power and unique abilities that aren't found on any other weapon. Despite this, the number of weapons is immense. Gearbox touts that Borderlands 3 contains "one billion guns," but that number is heavily skewed when you factor in minor stat changes. If you have any additional questions or want recommendations for gear based on what build you want to do (builds don't truly start until lvl 72 but I can provide some earlier suggestions) feel free to ask.Need to find out if you're missing one of these coveted pieces of gear? Look no further. You can also put your skill trees into there and link them to others if you want ideas on how to improve your set up. It'll tell you all hidden stats, effects, and parts that can possibly roll on it. Theres also which is better used to look up in depth specifics on weapons. I recommend bookmarking it or putting it as a link on the homescreen of your phone. It includes all legendary and unique weapons, their drop source, drop rate, effects, and more, as well as a bunch of other stuff. Right here is the ultimate spreadsheet for bl3. Never farm for a perfect one because you won't find it. Looking at the effect of the mod (only on legendary ones) is most important, followed by the skills and the passives. Each character has several options and picking the right one is very important. Picking a class mod is typically one of the first things you think of when you start theory crafting a build. Notable ones are the revolter (200% added shock damage and 50% fire rate on shield break), infernal wish (adds an additional projectile to your weapons, best in slot on moze on certain builds imo), and the old god (adds 20% damage to whatever element the shield is)Ĭlass mods: usually the staple of a build. The best shields in the game are for damage. Endgame builds that want really high shields will run the madcap, which has the highest capacity in the game. Shields: if you want to be tanky, capacity is good to look for. A gun with 10000 damage and a +300% damage on the bottom will do 10000 damage As for the stats on the bottom, all of them are already applied onto the stats on top. Some guns have more recoil than others but it's not hard to control any weapon in the game. Regarding the stats, accuracy and handling are pretty negligible. The bitch smg for example has similar damage to the needle gun but is horrible in comparison because it's gimmick is only higher critical hit damage. However, if a gun has lower base damage and lacks a good effect, chances are its totally useless. Legendaries and uniques have special effects that heavily effect the damage formula to the point where base damage doesn't mean all that much. The needle gun smg has ~9k damage (at max level) while the plasma coil smg has up to 81k damage (at max level). It's a nice gesture but in reality it doesn't tell you anything in terms of raw power.ĭamage isn't always everything, on legendaries especially. Im gonna list off a few generalized things considering a lot of it is heavily based on your build My current one is older but seems to work for how I play-any insight on what to focus on when choosing items to slot would be appreciated. What about the extra +% at the bottom? Is that on top of the stats listed? Re weapons, do I look at damage only? Item score? Color? Should I pick a gold weapon with a lower item score and/or damage than a blue weapon I have? How important are handling and accuracy? So far I’ve been liking heavies and rapid fire weapons so I look at fire rate but I’ve also got a few “good” (for my level) weapons of each type stored away until I figure out how to tell what’s ACTUALLY good vs. Doing so, I end up with a lot of weapons, mods, shields and I’m having a really hard time figuring out what is best when comparing items to actually use. Having fun exploring, doing missions with friends a couple times a week but I’m also doing the boss grind solo so that I can get extra $ to buy inventory and ammo space etc. I’m level 39 and picked Moze for my first character/toon. Hi, I’m new to the game and besides playing eso, I’m really pretty new to gaming, so sorry for the “noob” questions.
